Internal: Welcome to the first issue of The Centers' monthly internal newsletter!
Welcome to the first issue of The Centers' monthly internal newsletter. As with any organization, particularly a newly formed group, internal communication is critical for building cohesion and facilitating productive dialogue among all the divisions. With our group comprising over 1,200 individuals, spanning across five states and 32 zip codes, the newsletter will provide an efficient and effective platform for addressing corporate updates, highlighting happenings at the local practice level, and providing an opportunity for members of The Centers to contribute relevant content. With all of your support, this newsletter can be something very special and help us come together as a company devoted to the highest standards of Orthopaedic care.
I also want to thank everyone who has taken time out of their busy schedules to participate in the first two Strategic Planning Sessions. With the third meeting in the near future, we are getting closer to finalizing a comprehensive and forward-thinking roadmap for The Centers, which is informed by the valuable input of everyone in the organization. A key insight gleaned from the first two meetings was the importance of strong internal communications, so we believe this newsletter is a major step in building unity across all practices by helping everyone get to know each other better. In a similar effort, we are working to develop an internal physician directory, which will be a great tool for helping physicians to quickly search and find, based on expertise and subspecialties, doctors within The Centers for referrals.
Having successfully launched as the largest orthopedic practice in the communities we serve, possibly in the whole country, we have certainly accomplished many things we should all be proud of. Looking towards the future, I’m very excited to harness the power of the collective group to show that the private practice model can indeed deliver cost-effective care while preserving the purest form of the doctor/patient relationship. As we continue to come together as one group, we can be at the forefront of the quality movement that is sweeping through medicine, by working with each other to implement leading clinical guidelines and best practices across each division.
The newsletter will only be as strong as the support it receives from each division, and we truly appreciate everyone’s help in providing information for the inaugural edition. While there are challenges ahead, through strength in numbers, we are well poised to be a dominant force in making medicine and the practice of Orthopaedics better.
