Fluoroscopic Injections

Fluoroscopically guided steroid injections are typically used to alleviate chronic spine, leg or arm pain. They are performed with continuous x-ray guidance to determine the proper placement of the injection. Lumbar epidural injections, facet joint injections and sacroiliac injections can all be performed fluoroscopically. An individual with persistent low back pain radiating from the back into the legs may be a candidate for one of these procedures.
