Agenda and Details on The Centers' First Annual Meeting, October 24-25

Physicians and administrators, we are looking forward to seeing you at The First Annual Meeting of The Centers at the Gaylord National Resort & Conference Center.

The event will kick off on Friday night with a welcome cocktail reception and entertainment for you and your guest. Saturday's Business Meeting will begin at 8 a.m., and will cover the below topics:

  • The Centers' Business Update
  • Election of the Managers
  • Strategic Planning Meetings Outcome & Future Business Ventures
  • Future of Malpractice 
  • Risk Management
  • Future of Private Practice Super Groups 
  • The Centers' Goals and Future Projections

The meeting will also include a sub-specialty breakout session, which we hope will be the start of a long working relationship with all of The Centers' physicians that share sub-specialties.

The goal for these breakout sessions is to allow our sub-specialists the time to get to know one another, develop communication methods, set regular meetings and begin to collaborate on ways of improving clinical care by sharing best practices and developing clinical protocols for the Quality Committee to review. As The Centers moves forward in establishing a comprehensive quality program, each sub-specialty group will take the lead in developing and adapting clinical pathways and instituting "best practice" guidelines.

A dedicated meeting for administrators will be held, while physicians will divide into sub-specialty groups for Foot & Ankle, Joints, Hand & Upper Extremity, Spine, and Sports Medicine. 

The event will conclude with a keynote presentation by John Cherf, M.D., M.P.H., M.B.A, and an evening cocktail reception and dinner, recognizing the accomplishments of The Centers over the past year.
