John Cherf, M.D., M.P.H., M.B.A. to Deliver Keynote Address at The Centers' First Annual Meeting
The Centers is pleased to welcome Dr. John Cherf as the keynote speaker of the 2014 First Annual Meeting on October 25th.
Cherf, a Chicago-based orthopaedic surgeon, will be highlighting his recent research on the future of orthopaedics and the private-practice business model. He recently spoke on emerging orthopaedic healthcare issues at the 2014 American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons' Annual Meeting.
Cherf specializes in sports medicine and disorders of the knee at the Chicago Center for Orthopedics at Weiss Memorial Hospital. He earned a medical degree and master’s degrees in public health and business administration from Northwestern University, where he also completed his internship and residency. Dr. Cherf continued his specialty training with a sports medicine fellowship in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Cherf is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is board certified in orthopaedics.
