CAO Presentations

Published February 15, 2016

In recent months, several CAO physicians have been asked to speak in front of our orthopaedic and medical peers on a variety of topics. As we continue to deliver presentations, it is critical that we use the stage as another opportunity to further brand ourselves as CAO, a dominant force in delivering the best-quality orthopaedic care in the Mid-Atlantic. Presentations include:

  • Dr. Nicholas Grosso presented to the Maryland Orthopaedic Association on the state of the orthopaedic private practice in 2016. He discussed the trend of hospitals purchasing private practices, why recent graduates are turning toward hospital employment, benefits of private practice employment and the future of medical care. Dr. Grosso used the presentation as an opportunity to discuss “The CAO Experience” and the benefits of a large, single-specialty medical group.

  • Dr. Peter Johnston recently spoke with a group of shoulder surgeons in Colorado about the technique of Arthrotunnel Rotator Cuff Repair. He talked about the benefits of this technique, including the low cost and lack of anchor complications. Dr. Johnston’s presentation deck was branded with CAO logos and brand guidelines throughout.

  • Dr. Louis Levitt will be speaking to a group of orthopaedic medical students at George Washington University’s Grand Rounds in April. He will be discussing bundled payments and how this new payment model will change the way care is delivered. As orthopaedics are a target for bundles, and given that CAO is well-positioned to adopt bundled payments, Dr. Levitt will be able to talk about our business model and why medical students should consider employment in private practice.

Our team at Brian Communications has been working directly with Drs. Grosso, Johnston and Levitt to develop outlines, speeches and presentations. Given Brian Communications’ work with branding, they are able to integrate CAO logos and brand guidelines throughout presentations and can weave important CAO language into remarks.
