Everseat Announces Product Developments

Published February 11, 2016

Back in April, we announced an exciting partnership with Everseat, the mobile app for quick, convenient appointment posting and scheduling. Nearly a year into the partnership, many CAO divisions have seen great success booking last-minute appointment openings in a simple, mobile manner, and Everseat is excited to announce a few new programming features to help make appointment booking even simpler.

  • Everseat on the Web
Everseat recently launched its web version, so patients can now book appointments from the convenience of their computer without downloading the Everseat app to their phones. Similar to how consumers can make dining reservations online, patients can now search for open appointments right from the Everseat website, opening up this service to those who do not use smart phones.

  • New Notification Settings
We know that patients are busy people, and they don’t want to be sorting through lists of available appointments that don’t meet their needs. Patients can now customize their notifications so they are only alerted of an opening that fits within specific time parameters. For example, if a teacher needs an appointment after school, he or she can change the app settings to only notify them of an open appointment after 3 p.m., making the scheduling tool even more convenient and customizable.

  • Everseat Rewards
Everseat is considering developing a program where patients would be able to accumulate points when they book appointments with Everseat. These points would be redeemable by patients for gift cards with brands such as Amazon, Home Depot, Target and more. We will let you know when this new program starts.

  • Practice Management Integration
Practices using Athena or Allscripts are able to integrate the Everseat app with the practice management system so the administrator or office manager doesn’t have to manually load available appointments into the system or log in to make updates. This automation allows for thousands of available appointments to be uploaded to Everseat, and many CAO divisions are using this feature to fill a large number of open appointments. Particularly successful with practice management integration is the Metro Orthopaedics & Sports Therapy (MOST) division, which uses Athena to upload appointments. MOST has done a tremendous job promoting Everseat as an appointment scheduling service through word-of-mouth, online and on the after-hours voicemail message, and has similar success booking physical therapy appointments through Everseat. Many patients may be recommended months of physical therapy, and we know that their schedules are constantly changing. Physical therapy patients can log on to the Everseat app or web version to easily change their appointments without calling the office.
