Chief Compliance Officer Message
As we reflect on the first half of 2016, it is apparent that we have made great strides in a continued effort to improve our compliance culture. We have begun to develop Corporate policies and procedures for HIPAA and IT Security, and the Safety Committee is working on the Corporate Safety Plan. More importantly, Administrators are seeking 100% compliance from their Divisions in the areas of security risk assessments, HIPAA, Hazard Communication, Business Associate Agreements, and Conflict of Interest. Although we have made great progress, compliance is an ongoing initiative. There are many laws and regulations that push and guide us to do what we do in healthcare. As your Chief Compliance Officer, I am committed to doing what is required of me. Can I count on you?
