Each year, The Frederick News-Post runs its “Best of the Best” contest, which honors local businesses and services in more than 175 categories based on a vote by local readers. For the second year in a row, The Mid-Maryland Musculoskeletal Institute (MMI) Care Center’s Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Department has been honored as the favorite Physical Therapy Center.

MMI’s team of 17 therapists treat patients at three locations in Frederick and at facilities in Urbana and Hagerstown. The care center offers physical therapy, occupational therapy and certified hand therapy services. MMI also has a “Kids Only Therapy Gym” for pediatric patients, allowing children more freedom and comfort throughout recovery. The team also offers specialized services including vestibular rehabilitation, biomechanical running and gait analysis, functional capacity evaluations (FCEs), athletic training and fitness.
