On November 12, 2017, physicians and staff from MMI, along with more than 700 people in the local community, came together at Lily’s Hope 5K Run/Walk. After five years of remission, Lily, 16, is facing Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare childhood cancer. Dr. Laura Copaken, pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at MMI, had the privilege to speak at the event, and the love and support throughout the community was such an inspiration to see. We are so proud that MMI was able to support such a worthy cause.
