Today, we're delighted to introduce Dr. Michael E. Seem, a distinguished orthopaedic surgeon with The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics—an expert dedicated to restoring movement and enhancing quality of life.

  • Hip and knee replacement surgeries, including complex revision procedures
  • Proficient in advanced techniques such as anterior approach total hip replacement, partial knee replacement, robotic-assisted surgery, and computer navigation 

Educational & Professional Journey

  • Medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine (2016) 
  • Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where he earned 1st place in the Annual Resident Research Day for his pioneering work using virtual reality in surgical training 
  • Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic in Alexandria, VA, mastering leading-edge techniques in joint replacement using robotic and navigated systems
