Mobile Technology to Provide Convenient Scheduling to Patients

Bethesda, Md. – June 4, 2015 – The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics (The Centers), the largest provider of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal care in the regions it serves, today announced an exclusive partnership with Everseat, a cutting-edge mobile platform that will increase patients’ convenient access to care. The innovative app, available now for Apple and Android, will facilitate scheduling of appointments for current and new patients of The Centers’ 250 physicians, physical therapists and other care providers.

“As an organization, our focus is always on providing the best possible patient experience,” said Denny Tritinger, executive director of The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics. “Using Everseat, patients can immediately see what appointments are available across all of our locations to find the right provider and the best time slot. Quality patient care starts with the very first interaction, and we’re thrilled to be the first group of our size to offer this kind of convenience to our patients with the Everseat technology.”

The Centers encompasses 27 divisions throughout the mid-Atlantic region that joined together in 2014 to preserve the personalized, patient-focused service and standard of care that studies prove can only be found in the private-practice model. The partnership with Everseat is a result of the group’s continued dedication to finding new ways to provide patients the highest level of customer service. The free Everseat app is now available to download through the App store and Google Play.

The Everseat technology supports recent studies on the shift in healthcare towards consumerism and greater patient accessibility. Research from the Advisory Board Company found that consumers rated convenience among their highest priorities for healthcare providers. Similarly, a February 2015 Salesforce study found that 71 percent of Millennials would like their providers to use an app to book appointments.

“This is an extremely important relationship for us, as The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics is a leader and role model in its field,” said Jeff Peres, co-founder and CEO of Everseat. “The team of physicians and administrators at The Centers are tremendous innovators and we are pleased to be part of the recipe as they deliver outstanding healthcare services to the community. We are delighted to be working with The Centers.”
