Technology Platform to Facilitate Communication, Quality Measurement

Bethesda, Md.  – July 8, 2015 – The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics (The Centers), the largest provider of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal care in its region, today announced a partnership with Healthjump, a HIPAA-compliant technology platform that will conveniently share medical records, facilitate physician-to-physician communication and analyze patient data across 50 medical facilities to develop best practices and prove clinical outcomes.

“At The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, innovation transcends all aspects of our organization because we are entirely focused on providing the absolute best patient experience at the lowest cost. From the quality of the care we provide to the level of personalized services, the partnership with Healthjump dovetails perfectly with our patient-first mission,” said Denny Tritinger, executive director of The Centers. “Healthjump’s technology will integrate our EMR systems and aggregate patient data to allow us to further improve the outcomes for our patients. And with the ability to communicate quickly and securely, our physicians can strategize with other specialists on patient cases to ensure we are providing the best possible care recommendations.”

According to recent health research from Accenture, “Getting to know the customer and consumer through deeper, advanced analytics that are integrated across the organization,” is a distinct capability that will enable health companies to outperform peers. The Changing Future of Consumer Health report continues, “There is a consumer revolution in healthcare. However, most traditional consumer health companies have not taken advantage of this shift in consumer needs.”

“We’re honored to partner with The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics as they continue to focus on their patients’ needs, especially as the patient relationship is more important than ever before,” said Jim Rowland, founder and chief sales and marketing officer of Healthjump. “Given The Centers’ size and prominence in the field, we will have the opportunity to analyze a tremendous amount of data that will allow The Centers’ physicians across the Mid-Atlantic to improve their practices and communicate effectively, all with the patient in mind.”

This partnership with Healthjump closely follows the announcement of the Everseat app as a mobile appointment-booking tool for The Centers’ patients, illustrating the group’s focus on new technology to improve patient outcomes and communication.
