The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics Foundation Raises $58,000 for Charity and Research Through 12th Annual Golf Classic

 

Since 2022, the Foundation has raised more than $250,000 for local organizations

 

Bethesda, MD – April 29, 2026 – The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics (CAO) Foundation, the charitable organization of CAO – one of the nation’s largest orthopaedic care providers – is preparing to host 100 players at its 12th Annual Golf Classic on Friday, May 1, at Whiskey Creek Golf Club in Ijamsville, Md. This year’s event has raised $58,000 to benefit local organizations and nonprofits, bringing the Foundation’s total contributions through the Golf Classic to greater than $250,000 over the last five years.

 

Funds from this year’s Golf Classic will support the following recipients:

 

  • Jump for Our Heroes – A local benefit equestrian jumper show supporting veterans and active-duty militia.

 

  • Just Tryan It – A nonprofit that provides financial assistance to families whose children are battling cancer.
  • CAO Research Foundation – A research-based nonprofit that works to treat and prevent orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries through collaborative and practical research.

 

 

"When the CAO Foundation hosted its first Golf Classic in 2015, we never could have anticipated the outpouring of community support for the local organizations and nonprofits doing such meaningful work," said Dr. Grosso, President of CAO. "A decade later, this fundraiser stands as proof that when a community rallies behind a shared purpose, the impact is lasting."

 

In recent years, the CAO Foundation has supported additional organizations, including Patriot Point, OHANA of Howard County, Bello Machre, Wounded Warrior Project, Providence Center, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Hadassah Rehabilitation Center and Paul Chester Children’s Hope Foundation.
