Biography

Denis O’Brien, M.D. practices at the Potomac Valley Orthopaedic Associates division in Olney, Maryland and Silver Spring, Maryland at the Leisure World office.  Dr. O’Brien has been in practice for 26 years and began his career in the U.S. Navy.  In the last several years, he has focused on less invasive joint replacement options for his patients and is enthusiastic about the benefits of the anterior approach total hip replacement to his patients.

Dr. O'Brien is President of the Potomac Valley Orthopaedic Associates Division of The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics. He has considerable experience in leadership and clinical orthopedics in the 24 years he has been practicing.
