Biography

Jessica O’Keefe is a board-certified physician assistant licensed in the state of Maryland. In both of our office locations, Jessica works closely with all of the physicians, evaluates and treats patients in the office, and also assists Dr. Raffo in the operating room. She has a special interest in sports medicine and adolescent athletes.

Jessica is originally from North Potomac, Maryland. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Investigative and Medical Sciences from Saint Louis University, where she also played on the division I varsity soccer team. She then spent 2.5 years working on clinical trials at the National Institutes of Health studying traumatic brain injuries and stroke. She completed her physician assistant training at the Anne Arundel Community College Physician Assistant program, where she completed an elective clerkship with Dr. Gardiner and Dr. Raffo. She earned her Masters of Medical Science from St. Francis University. She is currently a member of the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery and American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Jessica currently assists Dr. Raffo in his role as team physician for Quince Orchard high school in Gaithersburg. She has also previously been involved with coaching soccer in Montgomery County.
