Welcome Dr. Christopher Michel to The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics – Parkway Division

The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics (CAO) – Parkway Division is proud to welcome Dr. Christopher Michel, a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of spinal disorders.

Dr. Michel is dedicated to helping patients restore movement, function, and confidence—whether returning to everyday activities or competitive athletics. He believes in developing individualized treatment plans that combine leading-edge surgical techniques with a focus on rehabilitation and long-term wellness.

After completing his medical training and orthopaedic surgery residency, Dr. Michel pursued a fellowship in advanced spine surgery. His training emphasized both minimally invasive and complex reconstructive spine procedures, enabling him to offer both conservative and surgical solutions tailored to each patient’s needs.

Dr. Michel is committed to working collaboratively with referring physicians, physical therapists, and other specialists to ensure seamless, coordinated care for every patient. His approach reflects CAO’s mission to provide comprehensive orthopaedic excellence across the region.

Dr. Michel is now accepting new patients at our Hagerstown office.
