Biography

Damian Roussel, DPM, FACFAS, CIME of Mid-Maryland Musculoskeletal Institute (MMI), is a foot and ankle surgeon in Frederick, MD board certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.  He is also board certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners.  He is President of the Mid Maryland Musculoskeletal Institute Division of The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics.  He serves as a peer review editor for the Trauma and Adult Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle sections of the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery. He performs independent medical exams, medical chart reviews, impairment ratings, and serves as an expert witness as well. He has appeared in several major publications such as TIME magazine, The Washington Post, USA Today, CNN, Runner's World, US News & World Report, AOL and many others as a contributing medical expert.
