Biography

Christopher Berman, M.D. specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Mid-Maryland Musculoskeletal Institute (MMI) division in Frederick, Maryland. He provides non-surgical treatment options to musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. His practice includes the evaluation and management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders, spinal disorders, sports injuries, chronic pain, neurological disorders, management of acute pain, and orthopaedic post-operative care.  Dr. Berman performs fluoroscopically-guided epidural, facet and sacroiliac joint injections, as well as Electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies.  Dr. Berman’s goal is to restore maximum function while keeping his patients as active as possible, to achieve the best possible quality of life.
