Biography

Dr. Mantell is a fellowship trained, orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He received his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, and stayed in the area to complete his residency at The George Washington University Hospital. He continued his training at the prestigious New England Baptist Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital, where Dr. Mantell completed his fellowship training in sports medicine.

Dr. Mantell joined Winchester Orthopaedic Associates in September 2017.

Dr. Mantell is Board Certified, and his clinical interests include sports medicine, arthroscopic treatment of hip, shoulder, and knee injuries as well as cartilage restoration procedures.

Dr. Mantell’s personal interests include golf, tennis, running, hiking, sailing, travelling and spending time with his family.
