Biography

Cina Karodeh, M.D., is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity care. Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, he completed his undergraduate and medical education in the D.C. metropolitan area. A former Terrapin, Dr. Karodeh moved out west to train in orthopaedic surgery at the largest Level 1 trauma hospital in Arizona at the University of Arizona – College of Medicine Phoenix (ranked in the Top 5 hospitals in Arizona) and recently completed a hand and upper extremity fellowship with additional microsurgery training at the Beth Israel Lahey Clinic in the greater Boston area (ranked in the Top 5 hospitals in Massachusetts).

Dr. Karodeh is deeply passionate about hand surgery, with a focus on preserving and restoring function—helping patients regain the ability to use their hands in meaningful ways. His clinical interests include complex trauma and fractures of the upper extremity, minimally invasive arthroscopy of the wrist, elbow and shoulder, nerve compression syndromes, denervation procedures, and treating nerve injuries where precision and attention to detail are essential to achieving optimal outcomes.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife, their two dogs, and his family, as well as staying active through weightlifting, hiking, traveling, and exploring new cuisines. He and his wife are avid fans of the Washington Capitals.
