Biography

Scott Silverstein, M.D., is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon focusing on minimally invasive surgery including advanced shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgery, knee and hip replacement and fracture/tendon repairs. Dr. Silverstein has been named a “Top Doctor” by Baltimore Magazine (four times) and by Washingtonian Magazine. He performs PRP and stem cell injections and has an interest in post-operative pain management for rapid recovery. He previously served as the Chief Resident of Orthopedics, Assistant Professor in Orthopaedics and Residency Education Director at West Virginia University Hospitals. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
