Scott Silverstein M.D. — Physician

Biography

Scott Silverstein, M.D., is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon focusing on quadriceps sparing outpatient knee replacement,  minimally invasive surgery including advanced shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgery, and fracture/tendon repairs. Dr. Silverstein has been named a “Top Doctor” in Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine by Baltimore Magazine most years and by Washingtonian Magazine. He performs PRP injections and has an interest in post-operative pain management for rapid recovery. He previously served as the Chief Resident of Orthopedics, Assistant Professor in Orthopaedics and Residency Education Director at West Virginia University Hospitals. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  He enjoys working out, spending time with his wife and twins and has successfully summited Mt. Kilimanjaro!
