To-Vi Nguyen PA-C — Physician Assistant

Biography

To-Vi is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in sports medicine and orthopedic care. She is licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians and DC Board of Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she also received a University Honors Citation in recognition of her academic excellence. She went on to complete her Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania, developing a strong clinical foundation with a focus on musculoskeletal health, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.

To-Vi has 2 years of experience in orthopedics and sports medicine with The Orthopedic Center. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, she began her medical career as a volunteer firefighter/EMT in Charles County, MD for 5 years and as a scribe in the emergency department. She hopes to use her orthopaedic knowledge and expertise to assist patients to their optimal functioning, whether that is regaining the ability to perform daily activities or returning to an active lifestyle. 

She is active in her community as a member of the Maryland Responds Medical Reserve Corps and assisted in mass vaccination efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is currently a member of the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
