Biography

Dr. Joseph Hanna, M.D. specializes in adult reconstruction/joint replacement with an emphasis on hip, knee, and shoulder joint arthroplasties at The Orthopaedic Center division in Rockville, MD. He has a special interest in degenerative arthritis, minimally invasive joint replacement as well as revision joint replacement. Dr. Hanna offers the most current treatments in minimizing pain after surgery for hip and knee replacements and utilizes the latest technologies in performing muscle sparing hip and knee replacements. He is trained to perform Anterior Hip replacements using the HANA table as well as performing outpatient partial knee replacements.

Dr. Hanna now resides in Northern Virginia. When he is not in the clinic or operating room, Dr. Hanna enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering in a local free clinic.
