Biography

Dr. Richard S. Milford is a board-certified, fellowship trained Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon. He attended Columbia University, Mount Sinai School of Medicine and was an orthopaedic resident at Albert Einstein Hospital. Following his orthopaedic training, he spent a fellowship year studying and performing hand surgery in a program affiliated with the University of Connecticut and Yale University. His treats a variety of orthopaedic patients with a focus on hand and upper extremity care.

Dr. Milford previously served as Chief of Orthopaedics, Vice Chief of Surgery and Chief of Surgery at Washington County Hospital (now Meritus Medical Center) and was a Clinical Associate in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He has been published in the Journal of Hand Surgery and has presented to the New England Hand Society.
