Robert Dolitsky M.D. Physician

Biography

Dr. Robert Dolitsky is an orthopaedic spine surgeon who specializes in surgical and nonsurgical treatments for back and neck spine conditions. Through his training in spine surgery, Dr. Dolitsky has acquired expertise in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar procedures to repair spinal deformities, herniated discs, and scoliosis. He is trained in robotics and minimally invasive techniques including endoscopic spine surgery as well as open complex spine surgeries. His focus includes performing disc removal, decompression, fusion, and revision spine surgery. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

A New York native, Dr. Dolitsky relocated to the University of Maryland where he graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Statistics and was awarded Phi Beta Kappa. He then received his Doctorate in Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He later completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, where he served as a Chief Resident of Orthopaedic Surgery. Most recently, Dr. Dolitsky moved to Baltimore and completed his fellowship training in spine surgery at Johns Hopkins University. 

When Dr. Dolitsky is not seeing patients, he is spending time with his wife and daughter. He enjoys basketball, hiking, tennis, chess, skiing, and scuba diving.
