Barry P. Boden M.D. — Physician

Biography

Dr. Barry P. Boden is a shoulder and knee specialist at The Orthopaedic Center division in Rockville and Germantown, Maryland and provides complete care for athletes/patients of all ages.  He has a conservative approach and offers non-operative treatment modalities for many injuries. He also received advanced, state-of-the-art training at Duke University  in minimally invasive, arthroscopic and open techniques for treating all shoulder and knee conditions as well as complex shoulder replacement procedures.

Dr. Boden served as the team physician for the athletes at Montgomery College for 20 years and participated on the medical staff at U.S. Soccer for the national teams. He is a consultant at the NIH, where he is developing precision surgical navigation techniques, and a Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He has lectured at numerous international, national and local conferences.
