Biography
Christopher M. Farrell, M.D. specializes in hip and knee replacement as well as sports injuries of the knee. After having trained at the Mayo Clinic for residency, he completed his first fellowship at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York City. Dr. Farrell continued his training in New York with a second fellowship in Hip Arthroplasty at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Dr. Farrell is experienced in complex problems of the knee and the hip. He has been awarded several Top Doctor honors in multiple publications. He practices at Orthopaedic Specialists of Metropolitan Washington division in Silver Spring, Maryland.
