Biography
William C. Doukas, M.D., is a board certified orthopaedic physician with a strong military background specializing in Shoulder and Sports Medicine at the Bay Area Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Division of The Centers. Dr. Doukas served for 24 years in the United States Army culminating as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. He also served as Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., for nearly a decade in addition to working as an assistant professor of surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences before entering into private practice in West Virginia. He is also a long-time Board Examiner for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
