Jatinder Narula M.D. Physician

Biography

Dr. Narula is dedicated to helping patients regain a pain-free life and takes a comprehensive approach to treating pain.  To restore function, resolve pain, and improve quality of life, Dr. Narula customizes treatment plans that incorporate non-surgical procedures, physical/occupational therapy, and pharmacotherapy.  He collaborates with other providers to ensure the best outcomes for patients.  

He is skilled in the full range of interventional pain procedures, such as:

  • spinal epidural injections
  • facet injections
  • sympathetic blockade
  • radiofrequency ablation
  • discography
  • spinal cord stimulation
  • peripheral joint injections
     

Dr. Narula has completed additional training in regenerative therapies.  He continues to explore new developments and breakthrough treatments to benefit his patients.   

A native of Northern Virginia, Dr. Narula attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.  During his residency at Georgetown University/National Rehabilitation Hospital, he was selected as Chief Resident and twice awarded Resident of the Year.  He completed a fellowship in pain management at Washington Hospital Center/National Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Narula has lectured on several topics, including neuropathic pain, low back injuries, discogenic pain, and the use of interventional procedures for pain management.
